A man was injured as a car burst into flames after an early-morning collision in Chalfont St Peter.
Firefighters were called to Chesham Lane to extinguish the blaze and help make the scene safe at about 1.45am today.
A man was released from the car, injured, before the emergency services arrived. A woman was also in the car, but was not hurt.
One fire crew from Gerrards Cross were called to the scene and used one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus.
The man’s current condition has not been confirmed by the authorities.
