A man has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a pensioner in Chalfont St Peter.
Odysseas Vafiadis, 70, of Birchdale, Gerrards Cross, was charged with murder on Thursday, November 12.
The charge is in connection with the death of 69-year-old Paul Davidson, who died on Monday following an assault.
Yesterday, shocked friends and neighbours in Lansdown Road paid tribute to the 'mild-mannered, placid' Mr Davidson.
Vafiadis has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court this morning.
