Firefighters have urged residents to never leave a bonfire unattended after one damaged a garage in Chalfont St Peter.
A crew from Gerrards Cross were called to Grove Hill at 3.06pm on Thursday afternoon to attend to a bonfire.
The fire had spread to a nearby garage, causing extensive damage.
Crews took to Twitter to warn of the damage that can be caused if bonfires are left unattended.
