Plans to build four new houses on the site of the former Chesham Royal British Legion club have been given the go-ahead.
The club, in Broad Street, burned down in a huge fire in 2009 and was later demolished.
After it was knocked down, proposals to build a row of four terraced houses on the site were put forward to Chiltern District Council.
Members of the authority’s planning committee agreed to the principle of the proposals last year, but a final decision was deferred so a legal agreement could be put into place.
This has now been completed and full approval for the application was rubber stamped by the planning committee last night.
