Chesham's post office is to have a new home at a larger premises in the town.
The branch is to move from its current site in The Broadway to a new premises in High Street, which was formerly home to Clintons Cards.
A new travel agency section will open, while the new-look branch will also be open on Saturdays for the first time.
Post Office regional network manager Will Russell said: "We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in Chesham and we are confident this new modern Post Office service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.
"This modernisation is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office and marks a commitment to no more branch closure programmes."
A date for the move will be announced in the near future, he added.
The new branch will be open from 9am-5.30pm Monday-Saturday.
