Two houses were burgled in the same Chesham street yesterday after thieves smashed the rear doors to get in.
On both occasions glass in back doors of the properties in Mount Nugent were broken to allow the burglars in and search for things to steal. In both burglaries the lofts were searched.
A passport and foreign currency were stolen from one of the homes, which was broken into at some point between 11am and 6.48pm.
Jewellery and an iPad were among the items to be stolen from the other property, which was raided between 9am-10pm.
Police have launched an investigation and have asked anyone with information to contact them by calling 101.
