A man suffered facial injuries after he was punched by three men at a petrol station in Chesham last week.

The victim had driven his car on to the forecourt of the Shell Garage in Nashleigh Hill at around 8.40pm on Friday, June 12 when two other vehicles parked up near him.

Six men got out of the vehicles and three of them went on to punch the 34-year-old victim.

He was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital with facial injuries, but has since been discharged.

Thames Valley Police believe the assault was an isolated incident and said members of the community should not feel at risk.

Det Insp Mark Baxter, from Aylesbury Force CID, said: “We are investigating the assault and appealing for anyone who saw what happened to contact the police.

“I would particularly like to trace anyone who saw three Asian men on the forecourt.

"One is aged in his fifties to early sixties and was wearing a grey t-shirt, another is aged in his fifties, had a moustache and was wearing a purple shirt and the third was aged in his twenties and was wearing a white jacket and dark clothing.
