A new £66k playground was opened in Chesham on Saturday afternoon by the town’s new mayor.
Cllr Noel Brown cut the ribbon at the opening of the new playground on Botley Playing Fields.
The Botley Playing Fields Association (BPFA), chaired by Jacqui Rice, took just over two years to raise the funds which replaced the old equipment which was over 40 years old.
The town’s former mayor Peter Hudson said: “Well done to the Botley Playing Fields Association for raising an amazing £66,000, 20k of which came from the Chesham Town Council.
“I invite the community to come along and enjoy the new equipment.”
