A man was attacked by robbers while he was jogging in Chesham this week.

At around 10.15am on Monday (January 30), the 27-year-old man was jogging through Cowcroft Woods on Broomstick Lane when two men approached him.

The men asked the victim if he had any possessions on him, and when the jogger showed them he didn't have anything, he was then attacked.

The men are described as two white men in their mid-twenties; about 6ft and slim. It is believed they were wearing hooded tops.

The jogger suffered bruising to his face and jaw but did not need to go to hospital. Nothing was stolen from him.

Investigating officers from Thames Valley Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information which could assist with the investigation.
