ORGANISERS of a popular retro music festival have confirmed the event will return next year for another outing, with eighties icon Kim Wilde topping the bill.

Let’s Rock The Moor will come to Cookham in May 2014 for the sixth instalment of the mass 80s revival concert, which last year saw around 4000 people flocking to Marsh Meadow.

The family friendly festival will feature live acts from the decade of big hair and synth pop, including Nik Kershaw, ABC, Sonia and T’Pau.

A sell-out event each year, organisers hope the latest Let’s Rock the Moor on May 17 will follow suit, with tickets already available for next time out.

New for 2014 includes the ‘Changeover Party’, which sees an array of entertainment during band changeovers, including the new ‘BigScreen Sing’, DJs from Absolute 80s, entertainers and TV legends to keep the party going.

And the new free Bigtopmania circus, a funfair including water rides and soft play areas, as well as children’s entertainers from BBC and ITV will entertain youngsters.
