Underage teens sold drink in police sting
FIVE licensed premises in Thame have illegally sold alcohol to underage customers.
During a police operation, two 14-year-old volunteers where sold alcohol illegally.
Sainsburys and The Cross Keys in Park Street, The Nags Head, in Upper High Street, The Six Bells in High Street and Ciao Baby in North Street, all failed the test on May 9.
Licensing officer Tony Cope said: "We will work with those premises that have failed for the first time to make sure their staff are trained correctly and the right processes are in place.
"If a licensed premise fails these operations three times, then we consider reviewing their licence and it can be revoked."
The member of staff who served the underage teens were on each occasion issued with an £80 fixed penalty notice at the point of sale, and the manager or licensee was informed.

The only way to stop this is to ban the shops and pubs concerned from selling alcohol for 12 months and fine them heavily.

what a load of pap, blimey my father had a offie back in the 70's and 80's 11 to 14 year olds were great bussines, the mums and dads don't care so why should we, the point is if the parents don't know that there kids are getting smashed then more fool them. Good Luck.
