A new charity shop in Flackwell Heath is appealing to villagers not to throw out unwanted clothes and toys, as they aim to raise money for children across the UK.
The Barnardo’s Community store opened next to Sainsbury’s in Straight Bit last week and said they are delighted to join the community.
But they have also asked people to help their cause by donating.
Area Business Manager, Belinda Germain, said: “We will always be looking to find new stock for the shop, so please don’t throw out any good quality children’s and adults clothes or toys and games.
“We can sell them which will be better for the environment and better for us in funding the important work we do with vulnerable children.”
Iain Rennie Hospice at Home charity shop is also setup in the village and accepts donations.
