A Flackwell Heath resident raised more than £3,000 for Diabetes UK last month by holding a day of fun activities at her house.
Since 2009, retired baker Carole Bailey has held a street party to raise funds for the charity following her granddaughter’s diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes when she was three-years-old.
This year, Carole raised £3,119.67 through holding a fun day with lots of activities and refreshments at her house.
Over the years she has raised almost £8,500 for the charity.
