Elderly woman serious injured in ceiling collpase
A woman in her nineties was seriously injured when a ceiling collapsed on her in Flackwell Heath last night.
South Central Ambulance Service confirmed it was called at 6.26pm to reports of the ceiling having fallen on an elderly woman at a house on Straight Bit.
Ambulance crews called the fire service to help free the trapped woman, before taking her to Wexham Park Hospital.
Her injuries were described as serious but not life threatening.
Bucks Fire and Rescue said the ceiling collapse happened at a residential house on the road.
