Burglars stole a distinctive German dagger from a home in Flackwell Heath last week.

Thieves took the engraved dagger from a property in Greenlands at some point between Monday, January 11 and Wednesday, January 13.

Case investigator Sandra Faux, from Local CID based at Wycombe police station, said the dagger is likely to be of interest to collectors.

She said: “We are appealing for any information concerning a burglary at Greenlands. A distinctive dagger in a sheath was stolen from the property and may be of interest to local collectors.

“It is engraved with “Alles fur Deutschland” and was brought to the UK from Germany after World War Two.

“I would ask anyone who saw anything, or who has information about the dagger, to get in touch.”

Anyone with information can contact Sandra Faux at High Wycombe Local CID by calling the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
