More than 1,000 people with their four-legged friends descended on a charity's headquarters for their annual late summer show on Sunday.

Visitors to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People's summer show were treated to demonstrations from the Hearing Dogs display team in the main arena and had the opportunity to enter their own clever canines into a fun dog show where titles included 'Waggiest Tail' ‘Best biscuit Catcher’ and 'Most Appealing Eyes'.

The fun filled day at the charity headquarters at The Grange in Saunderton also featured a number of stalls for shopping, afternoon tea with cakes, a barbecue and a bouncy castle and go karts for children.

Melanie Preskett, national events manager, said: "We were delighted to welcome so many supporters to The Grange on Sunday for a fantastic day of family fun.

"We have raised over £9,000, and we would like to thank everybody who helped to make the event such a huge success.

"All funds raised from the Late Summer Show will help Hearing Dogs change the lives of more people who suffer with hearing loss.”
