Television star Fern Britton was a special guest at an annual party for Wycombe's elderly residents on Thursday.
The High Wycombe Guarantor’s Dinner is an event which dates back to 1910, with community figures donning their chef whites to prepare and serve food for the many invited guests.
This year, Fern, who lives near Holmer Green, joined the likes of Steve Baker MP, High Wycombe mayor Cllr Brian Pearce and Wycombe District Council chairman Cllr Suzanne Brown for the event.
Superintendent Kevin Brown, Wycombe's police chief, also took part.
The tradition is for each “guarantor” to bring two senior citizens with them to the party at Adams Park, before they serve food and drink to them throughout the afternoon.
Guests also enjoyed live music while wearing party hats and socialising.
