Resurfacing on a major High Wycombe roundabout has been causing traffic chaos for the last two weekends – and it is set to continue for a third in March.
Handy Cross roundabout and all exits including Wycombe Road, A4010 John Hall Way, Marlow Road and A404 Marlow Hill have been affected while the works are being carried out.
The work, which is being carried out over three weekends in February and March, involves resurfacing, replacing the traffic signal and “census detection loops”, renewal of the road markings and studs, and laying anti-skid material at selected areas of the roundabout.
Signed diversions will be in place during the closures, mostly using the M40 junctions 3 and 5, the A40, Wooburn Green and Little Marlow.
