Young girls in Gerrards Cross were excited to sign up to be part of a new Brownies pack, organised by a group of parents from the village, this week.
Held at Gayhurst School, in Bull Lane, the group first officially met at the schools Cricket Pavilion on Monday afternoon.
The club is open to all girls in Gerrards Cross, not just students of the school.
A school spokesman said volunteers have been trying to form a Brownies group for some years, but they have now received help from parents who offered to start it up.
