Firefighters rescued an injured woman from the wreckage of a lorry crash in Beaconsfield yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.

The emergency services were called to the junction of A40 and Potkiln Lane at about 4.35pm after a car and lorry smash.

One woman was injured and had to be helped by firefighters at the scene.

A man, who was also involved in the crash, was uninjured and able to get out of his vehicle before help arrived.

Two fire crews from Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross attended along with two officers.
