Five Tesco store managers will be walking 25 miles from Princes Risborough to Gerrards Cross in a bid to raise thousands for charity.
Andy Stuart, Alan Larkin, Robert Folly, Stephen White and Scott Berti, the five managers from Princes Risborough, High Wycombe, Loudwater, Amersham and Gerrards Cross supermarkets are walking branch to branch on March 23 to raise £5,000 for Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation.
The group are expected to reach Loudwater Tesco at around 11.30am, where they will be welcomed by the likes of High Wycombe mayor Zia Ahmed, council chairman Mahboob Hussain and High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, Milly Soames before they continue on their journey.
Claire Dicker, community champion at the Loudwater store on London Road, said: “British Heart Foundation is our flagship charity but this is our last year in partnership and we want to go out big.”
If you wish to donate, visit the Loudwater store and pass the donation to Customer Services or visit their fundraising page here.
