Hazlemere Parish Council are hoping to appoint a trustee for the Hazlemere Memorial Hall.
The memorial hall, previously the Ken Williams Memorial Pavilion, is managed by an independent Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
The CIO already has two 'community-appointed' trustees, former parish council chairman Brian Mapletoft and former councillor Natasha Howard, and one council-appointed trustee, Cllr Andy Baldwin, but the parish council has to appoint another to start in April this year.
Another community appointed trustee is due to be appointed to the voluntary role in April 2017.
The trustees, who are in the role for five years, are tasked with providing and maintaining a community centre for the use of residents and ensuring the charity is accountable and complying with rules.
Anyone who is interested in applying to become a trustee should send the council clerk, Ali Banham , a short CV and a short statement of 200 words saying why you are interested in being a CIO Trustee, and what you think you could bring to the post to hazlemere.parish@btconnect.com.
The closing date for applications is February 26 and applications will be considered by an appointment panel, before a decision will be made at the council meeting on April 5.
