A knitting group is raising money for charity by launching a mother and baby range at a shop in Hazlemere.

Knit n’ Knatter, which meets at St Michael’s and All Angels Church in Hughenden, is launching its first Mother and Baby range on March 4 in aid of South Bucks Hospice.

The range, which includes hand-knitted baby blankets, baby boy and baby girl hampers for all age ranges and a selection of booties, knitted dresses, cardigans and bonnets, will launch at the charity’s shop in Cosy Corner.

Ann Hore, of Knit n’ Knatter, said: “We are really excited by this range which we hope will raise a lot of money for a really worthwhile charity.

“At the same time, it will also help new mums because the clothes will be both affordable and of very good quality.

"Our members have been working hard and we are thrilled with what we’ve all produced.”

Knit n' Knatter has already raised significant funds for the charity, which is currently building a new hospice in High Wycombe.

Jo Woolf, Hospice Chief Executive, said: “I love the initiative of this group and am so grateful for all they have done to help patients with life-limiting illnesses.

"I hope the public will enjoy and benefit from their new range.”

Knit n’ Knatter has around ten members and meets every first Wednesday of the month from 1pm.
