The friends and family of a 27-year-old man who tragically died in a car crash in Downley have raised over £3,500 towards the cost of his funeral after setting up an online fundraiser.
Jonathan Lane passed away on Bank Holiday Monday after the horror crash in Plomer Green Lane.
Friends and family rallied round to donate cash towards the cost of his funeral with an online campaign and the total currently stands at £3,710.
Over 100 people have now donated money towards the funeral and memorial online since the fundraiser was started by friends Sheldon Francois and Jade Douglas.
Posting on the site, Ms Douglas said: "Johnny didn't have much family around, but as his friends we were his family.
"We all loved Johnny and didn't have a bad word to say about him, he was everyone's friend.
"Whether it's £1 or £100 anything will help and will be greatly appreciated. So from all of us, friends and family we can give him the send of he deserves."
Jonathan's death prompted an outpouring of support from the community.
