A teenager suffered minor injuries during a “machete” attack in High Wycombe, yesterday evening.
At about 8.30pm yesterday, the 19-year-old male victim was assaulted in Hawthorne Road, Micklefield.
The victim was punched and struck with a sheathed bladed weapon, believed to be a machete.
He suffered minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment.
PC Usman Shafique, based at Wycombe Police Station, said: “Two young men have had an argument and one has assaulted the other.
“This happened at the roadside in Hawthorne Road. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed this assault, possibly from a passing vehicle, to contact me on 101.”

- A 17-year-old boy from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
