A teenager has been charged with wounding, in connection with a stabbing which left a 24-year-old man seriously injured.
Hamza Hussain, 19, of Gibbs Close, High Wycombe, was arrested last night and charged today in connection with one count of section 18 – wounding, one count of possession of a controlled drug of class B, cannabis, and one count of escape from lawful custody.
The wounding charge relates to the incident in Mendip Way at about 2am on Thursday, July 16.
During the incident, which occurred close to the junction with The Pastures Service Road, the victim was stabbed in his back and side.
He was treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and has since been discharged.
Hussain is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today.
