Rumoured plans to sell a popular High Wycombe town centre pub have been dispelled.
Wetherspoon today denied that bosses have discussed selling The Falcon, in the High Street, but said they are still aiming to offload The William Robert Loosley, in Oxford Road.
In August, the pub giants announced that they had put the Loosley up for sale as part of a package of 20 bars they hoped to sell across the UK.
In recent weeks there were rumours that The Falcon could instead be sold, with the more recently revamped pub on the other side of town being kept.
The William Robert Loosley.
However, Wetherspoons have dismissed the suggestion with spokesman Eddie Gershon saying it is not on the market.
He added: “We intend to trade there for many years.”
