A 28-year-old man has been charged with a robbery at a betting shop in High Wycombe last week.

Thames Valley Police confirmed cash was taken during the incident at a Coral outlet in Cressex Road on Friday October 30.

Nathan Ashton from Reading was yesterday charged with one count of robbery.

He is currently remanded in custody and will appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday December 7.

In August last year a 60-year-old man was robbed of £1,990 cash at a Coral outlet in Cressex Road. There is no suggestion the two incidents are linked.
