A 25-year-old man suffered neck injuries after he was assaulted by two men in High Wycombe last week, police revealed this afternoon.
The police are appealing for witnesses following the assault, which took place in Chequers Avenue at around 1.45am on Sunday November 8.
Thames Valley Police confirmed one of the offenders is white, 5ft 10ins with blond hair.
Investigating officer PC Stephen Howells said: “During the altercation, the fight was broken up by an unidentified witness who I am looking to speak to in relation to the offence.
"It is also possible this was witnessed by other members of the public who were walking past or driving past the incident.”
Call Thames Valley Police on 101 with information.
A 19-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of affray and later released on police bail.
