Worried onlookers called police in High Wycombe town centre this morning after seeing blood on the street near a block of flats.
Officers went to Easton Street – near the junction with Crendon Street – after witnesses told the BFP they saw bloodied hand and footprints near the entrance to flats along the stretch.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that they responded to a fear for welfare call around 9.20am, and that they found an injured man at one of the properties.
His injuries were described by police as minor and not suspicious.
Officers have now left the scene.
