A manhunt is underway after a pensioner was pushed to the ground, kicked and robbed of her purse during a “distressing” attack in broad daylight.
The 70-year-old woman was walking along Havenfield Road, in Booker, when she was assaulted by the man.
Detectives have today (Thursday) issued an E-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the crime.
It happened at about 3pm on Monday, May 2, and the attacker ran off after stealing cash from the victim’s purse.
The woman was not injured during the attack, according to officers.
Investigating officer, PC Bushra Sheikh from High Wycombe CID, said: "This was a distressing assault on an elderly woman and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information.”
