A homeless shelter in High Wycombe was evacuated when a fire broke out on Saturday, leaving one man suffering burns.
Paramedics treated the injured man after being called out to the flat blaze in The Old Tea Warehouse, in Amersham Hill, at about 5.45pm.
Two Bucks Fire and Rescue crews from High Wycombe also attended, but the fire was out on their arrival.
The Old Tea Warehouse is one of the Riverside Wycombe Projects, offering housing and support for homeless people with complex needs including addiction, a history of offending and issues around mental and physical health.
