Two men from High Wycombe have been charged after a pair of burglaries in the town last month.
Waqar Jamil, aged 21 from Alford Road, High Wycombe and Israr Aslam, aged 28 from Chiltern Avenue, High Wycombe, were both charged on June 29 with burglary and burglary with violence.
The charges relate to two burglaries. The first was in Mulberry Close on June 11 when the victims returned home to find their house ransacked, with jewellery and other possessions stolen.
The second was on June 25 in Deeds Grove, where two men were disturbed during a burglary and threats then made towards the victims.
Jewellery and cash and a mobile phone were taken in the second raid.
The two men appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court yesterday (Thursday) and were remanded in custody until August 2, when they will appear at Aylesbury Crown Court.
