A CCTV image of a man police want to speak to in connection with a theft from a motor vehicle in High Wycombe last week has been released today.

A 76-year-old woman was returning her trolley to the trolley park in the Morrisons car park in Bellfield Road on Tuesday, June 28 at around 11am, when she was approached by a man asking for directions to the hospital.

During this time, a second person stole the woman's bank cards from her handbag in her vehicle. The offenders then used the card to withdraw an undisclosed amount of money from her account.

Investigating officer Sandra Faux, case investigator based at High Wycombe police, said: "We would like to speak to the man in this CCTV image as we believe he may have information which could help us with our investigation.”
