Hundreds of runners saw their hard preparation pay off this weekend as they took on the new-look Wycombe Half Marathon.
The route for the annual race was switched in a bid to attract more competitors, with runners winding their way through the countryside in West Wycombe Park and Lane End for this year’s competition.
And after the 13-mile slog, tired participants crossed the finish line at Wycombe Wanderers’ Adams Park, where the presentation ceremony took place.
The overall winner (pictured with Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth) was Fabian Downs, who completed the course in a time of one hour, 17 minutes.
