Electrical items were stolen after a fight broke out when a group of men turned up at two neighbouring houses in High Wycombe this morning.

At around 8.10am today (July 24), a fight started at two houses in Queens Road after the men arrived and started arguing with the occupants.

They managed to get into one of the houses and a number of electrical goods were taken.

Officers were called and arrested two men nearby in connection with the incident - a 21-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and criminal damage, while a 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

They both remain in custody.

Det Insp Mark Lacey said: "This is not believed to be a random incident, the perpetrators came looking for a particular person. And following the argument it appears a number of items were taken from the property.

"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident and who has not yet come forward to the police to call us on 101 quoting URN 422 24/7 or they can call Crimestoppers."
