A man who was found unconscious outside a High Wycombe pub has died.
A police cordon was set up outside The Pheasant, in London Road, this morning, with eye-witnesses reporting seeing paramedics give CPR to a man lying on the ground.
Officers have just confirmed that they were called to the scene at 9.28am after the man was found unconscious and helped paramedics before they took him to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The death is not believed to be suspicious.
Police remained at the scene for hours after the initial 999 call from the ambulance service and left at about 12.30pm.
The man’s next of kin are yet to be informed and officers are now preparing a file for the coroner.
No other details about the man have yet been released.
It is not known if the man had any connections to the pub.
