Ticket machine found abandoned in High Wycombe - picture from @TVP_Wycombe Twitter account
A routine police patrol turned up an unusual discovery as officers found a ticket machine abandoned in a residential road.
Thames Valley Police are urging anyone with information about the odd find to come forward and help their investigation.
A tweet from the @TVP_Wycombe account revealed one town-based policeman, PCSO Sheppard, found the machine during his patrol in Pettifer Way, Castlefield.
Wycombe officers say the machine has been released to Wycombe District Council, which is the rightful owner.
