A 16-year-old boy who has been missing throughout the school summer holiday could be in High Wycombe, police say.

A search has been underway to find Liam Johnson, from Suffolk, since he disappeared on July 23 and officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Detectives are re-appealing for help in tracing the missing teenager, and believe he could be in High Wycombe.

They say it is most likely he is in the Northamptonshire area, but it is also believed that he had been visiting or spending time with friends or family in the Buckinghamshire town.

Liam is white, 5ft 6in, with short, blonde hair, a slim build and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, a black hoodie, faded blue tracksuit bottoms and navy blue trainers.

Officers are urging Liam or anyone who believes they may have seen him or has any idea of his whereabouts, to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
