A man who was “found hanged” on the top floor of a town centre car park has been named by the coroner’s court.

The body of 58-year-old Patrick Humphries was found in High Wycombe’s Easton Street car park at about 7.25am on Thursday.

The Bucks Free Press understands that the discovery was made by a motorist who quickly called 999.

Police forensic crews carried out investigations at the scene of the car park throughout Thursday morning and have not officially confirmed the circumstances of the death, which will now be determined at an inquest.
