Pupils at a High Wycombe school are taking on a vow of silence all day in a bid to raise money for charity.
Students at The Highcrest Academy, on Hatters Lane, are taking on the sponsored silence in aid of Children in Need.
Last year, the school managed to raise more than £2,000 for the BBC charity, which has raised over £600 million for disabled children and young people in the UK since 1980.
A number of schools and businesses across the county are taking part in fundraising events all day today.
The Children in Need live fundraiser will be broadcast from 7.30pm tonight on BBC One.
