Officers are still at the scene attending a warrant, Thames Valley Police have confirmed in the last few minutes.

In total there were around eight police vehicles spotted at the scene throughout the initial operation.

The incident caused traffic delays along the road, with onlookers gathering on the streets near the homes.

Residents told reporters of their shock at the dramatic scenes, with most questioning what has happened.

Police spokesman Holly Claydon-Bevan said: “Whilst there is no need for residents to be concerned, if anyone has any issues or concerns please speak to a local officer or call 101.”
