A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery that saw a woman dragged across a petrol station forecourt by a moving car in High Wycombe.
At around 2.30pm on Sunday, July 9, the victim parked her light blue Fiat 500 on the forecourt of Morrisons petrol station in Bellfield Road to fill the tyres with air.
A man is then believed to have got into her car and driven off at speed with the woman still holding onto the driver's open door.
She was dragged across the forecourt, leaving her with cuts and bruises.
The car was last seen heading along Parker Knoll Way towards Glenister Road.
Yesterday a 32-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested in High Wycombe on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident and remains in custody.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant James Faulkner, based at High Wycombe Police station said: "It was very fortunate that the victim was not seriously injured.
"The reckless actions of the offender could have resulted in serious injury to the victim and onlookers as he drove."
