A teenage gang that robbed and attacked four people during a two-hour rampage in High Wycombe and Gerrards Cross has been jailed.

Eight teenage boys - the youngest being just 13 years old - have been convicted following a crime spree on December 30 last year.

The gang started by robbing a 13-year-old boy in East Common, Gerrards Cross, at around 4.30pm, threatening him with a knife before knocking him to the ground and stamping on him for several minutes, before stealing his phone.

The boys then travelled to the Eden Centre in High Wycombe, where between 5.30pm and 6pm, they stole a backpack from a 14-year-old boy, threw a woman to the ground and attacked an 18-year-old man.

They were all charged between April 19 and 21 and five of them pleaded guilty at Aylesbury Crown Court on June 6.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Chris Jamieson, from Force CID, said: “This successful prosecution of eight offenders demonstrates the police and the justice system will not tolerate gang violence, and will continue to work hard to keep our communities safe by protecting and reassuring the public.”
