Travellers have returned to an area of council-owned land in High Wycombe.
Eyewitnesses say there are between 10 and 20 caravans on Terriers Common, in Totteridge Lane - near the Beech Tree pub.
Travellers had previously set up camp there in August last year, which resulted in an extensive clean-up operation that saw Wycombe District Council contractors clearing human faeces, rubbish and electrical items.
A Tylers Green resident - who wanted to remain anonymous - was passing through the area earlier this afternoon and saw more caravans arriving.
He said he has tried to contact Wycombe District Council to make them aware of the situation.
