A fast food restaurant that was shut down last month after environmental health officers discovered a "rat infestation" has now lost its late night licence after a serious assault exposed it was breaking conditions of the licence.
Now, it has been revealed that the restaurant has had its late night licence revoked after a serious assault at the takeaway happened after 4am, when it should have been closed.
The shocking incident prompted a review of the restaurant's licence and one of the conditions was that two door security staff would be on duty from midnight until 4am on a Friday and Saturday.
Door staff were not on the premises and the business was still open after 4am - breaking licence conditions.
A licensing sub-committee hearing took place on January 9 and a decision was made to revoke the premises licence.
The licence holder, Mr Ali, did not appeal this decision within 21 days.
A spokesman for Wycombe District Council said: "The decision demonstrates that the licensing authority will take tough action when a premises licence holder breaks the terms of their licence. Compliance with the licence conditions is a legal requirement."
