A High Wycombe child who suffered a head injury after being hit by a car will feature in the next episode of a new show following the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
In the second episode of Emergency Helicopter Medics on April 15, the air ambulance crew spring into action to help Ar-Rayyan, a nine-year-old boy who was hit by a car in his hometown.
The ten-part documentary shows the emergency services charity, in its iconic red helicopter, attending a range of incidents across the counties of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
Amanda McLean, CEO at Thames Valley Air Ambulance, said: “It was a privilege to be featured as part of this series. It shows how, together with our fellow emergency services, we make a difference when minutes matter.
"Furthermore, as a charity, it provides our supporters with true examples of how their generous donations help us save lives.”
