SEE what's on offer at an acoustic night at Bucks New University Student's Union. The open mic session called Suck My Acoustic next takes place on Tuesday, November 6 at 8pm and again on November 20 and December 4 in the lounge. There are drink promotions and for every decent performance of three songs on the night there will be a free bottle of wine up for grabs. THE Curse of Cromwell, The Musical is at Norden Farm in Maidenhead from November 7-10. The story follows a country squire who married a high born lady, became an MP, a general and then a dictator. Cromwell's rise to power is told against stories from his wife to his slaves. Woven into the story is three well known characters, John Hampden, Sir William Borlase and John Milton. WADDESDON Manor is calling on volunteers from the area to help create Angel of Light, an outdoor light installation by international artist Bruce Munro. It is a light art installation created by laying out 50,000 CDs in a very precise circle. Bruce is looking for a team of 15 volunteers to help his installation team create this on the North Lawn at Waddesdon Manor. Volunteers are required from November 6 until 8, from 9.30am to 4.30pm each day (a sandwich lunch will be provided).
