THIS week Dick Whittington will be travelling from Holmer Green to London.

The Holmer Green Players are staging one of their popular pantomimes for old and young alike. It will follow the traditional storyline but will also have a number of characters from other storylines.

It has been written and directed by long-time member, Terri Boyce.

In this story Dick travels from Holmer Green to London to find that the streets are not paved with gold, where he meets Alice, is sacked for stealing, travels to Morocco before returning with a fortune to claim his love (and become Lord Mayor of London).

The panto will be staged from November 15 to 17 at 7.45pm with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm. On Thursday 15/Saturday 17 2.30pm Matinee tickets are £8 (£6 concessions) with no food included although there will be refreshments available in the interval.

Show goers on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 will receive a chicken and chip supper with tickets priced at £12 (£10 concessions).
