What do you love about the pub and why do you keep coming back? It’s a home from home! There’s always a good atmosphere and the staff do their utmost to make you feel welcome so it’s a great place to relax. The food has improved immeasurably since the refurb and there’s always something on the menu worth a try.

How long have you been going? I moved to Mill End in 2005 with my then girlfriend, Hannah so we’ve been visiting the Stag for about 7 years. We were actually married at St. Mary’s church in Hambleden in 2009 and had our reception in a marquee in the Stag’s beer garden so the pub holds a lot of happy memories for us.

What do you drink? I like real ale and the Stag’s good for this as it usually has a few decent beers from local breweries available at the bar. I recommend any of the Loddon beers but especially Ferryman's Gold!

Do you have a regular spot? I like the snug on a cold winter’s evening but I don’t have a specific seat or spot: I’m still too young for that.
